“It is my honor to recognize 27 exceptional individuals that help make Affton strong,” said Patricia Zahn, president of the Affton Board of Education. “These nominees go above and beyond, often working quietly behind the scenes, to make a difference in each of our schools and in our community.”

“While adding a new front entry, classrooms, and a gymnasium at Gotsch Intermediate School was certainly exciting, there were some moments when we weren’t certain we would be able to start the school year on time,” said Dr. Travis Bracht, superintendent. “Through it all, Gotsch teachers, staff, and administration never wavered nor complained. We are truly fortunate to have employees like these on our team, finding solutions to each challenge they face with teamwork, grace, and a willingness to make something great for their students.”
